DR. JUI SHANKAR

She graduated with a Ph.D. in Counselling Psychology and a cognate in Anthropology from Ball State University in 2007. Since 2008, she has worked with Médicins sans Frontières (MSF) as a mental health supervisor, both in national and international settings. MSF is an international humanitarian emergency medical organization that provides medical and psychosocial care to underrepresented populations around the world, who are unable to access care due to conflict, natural disasters, and/or where governments are limited in their ability to respond to medical needs.

She has also worked in India in a HIV/TB and basic health care program, a sexual violence project in Papua New Guinea, and for mental health programs in Baghdad and Fallujah, in Iraq. Currently, she is at the Symbiosis International University teaching courses in Psychology, Research Methods, and Peace and Conflict Studies, and Multicultural Worldviews.
