Mr. Dawid Stańczak
In 2014, he graduated with a Bachelor of Science with Honours in Sociology with Criminology with first class honours degree from Ulster University. Currently, he is enrolled as a PhD candidate at the School of Criminology, Politics and Social Policy, Ulster University. The title of his research study is ‘Prohibiting State-Corporate Crime through Non-Violent Direct Action: A Comparative Study of Crime-Control from Below’.
Since October 2012, Dawid has also been a social media intern for International State Crime Initiative (ISCI), at Queen Merry University London. In 2013 he was appointed researcher on a project on direct action, which formed part of a larger Economic and Social Research Council (ESRC) project into civil society and resistance. He has also been teaching courses on Crime and Deviance, Sociology of Development and Crime and Criminal Justice. Mr. Dawid has also completed a certificate course on ‘Gandhi, Globalization and Gross National Happiness’ from Bija Vidyapeeth- Earth University in Uttrakhand.
